Even the the base model has a "Multi-information display (MID)" - does this mean there is still an lcd for the non-nav system? Thanks.

 

I would imagine that it will be something similar to the MDX's current setup. The current non-navi MDX uses the screen to display gas mileage and temperature information.

 

The MID is the display located in the instrument cluster, directly below the speedometer. This displays the SH-AWD monitor, tire pressures, Maintenance Minder, and customizable settings (such as auto door locks, memory settings, etc...).

I, too, am curious as to how the center console will look w/ non-navi models.

 

one of the other spec lists shows a center display as standard, so the screen must be standard. that plus looking at the earlier thread that "navi would be standard" shows that only one consol piece exists for the RDX.
