My RDX's next maintenance has 20% left. I will do a 2000 miles trip next week. I think I need to do the oil change before the trip, but currently it doesn't show the code. How can I know what else I need to do for the maintenance?

If I do it when I come back, it will be about 1000 miles over the set oil change time, will that ok or it will be harmful to my car? Thanks

 

Better just change the oil - no point taking the risk since you are planing to change it soon anyways.

I just changed my oil this past weekend when it was 30% left but i drive everyday.
The oil was completely black and dirty.

 

I will hold on the change and see what's the next service code. The synthetic oil usually can last far more than 5000 miles.
