hid fog light question

So I ordered a hid kit for my fogs which is a plug and play, and then d2 replacement bulbs for the headlights. My question is that the both bulbs are 10k and is that to much for the fogs or the headlights?

I like to keep it under 6k, anything higher is blue or purple and won't help seeing the road clearly.
For show it's OK, it's also great to get the cops' attention, low beam should be 5k or 4300k to keep it white and clear and has the most brightness.
FYI: 3200k is yellow, the higher the k, the less bright it will be, 12k is purple.

Both of mine are 10k. Definately not the greatest for visability. I am going to swith to something lighter for the low beams, probably a 6k. Looks cool and the light is cool with the tint, but can't see very clear past about 30-40 yards

I have oem on the top and 3k on the fog's - like what Joe L.V said; keeping it 6k and under is the best!
