Still liking my RDX.
But you can really tell they just don't build them like they used to. I hear little rattles and squeaks in this SUV.
My 04 TSX was super solid.
My 07 TL was a little less solid.
My 09 RDX has continued that downward trend of over all build quality getting less and less.
Also...After owning my Droid X for only a couple weeks and seeing how navigations are getting better and better it shocks me just how PLAIN JANE the RDX Navigation is. I don't think I'll pay another $2000-$3000 premium for the "Tech Package". My FREE google Navigation on my 4.3inch Droid X screen is just as good if not better in terms of accuracy and getting me places....the only thing the RDX offers is the bigger screen. It surely gets killed in terms of finding POIs!!!
Unless Acura changes these facts.....my next car will break the trend of Acuras owned.
Anyone else feel this way?

Absolutely - I feel the same way. I don't think the build quality is any better than my earlier cars from other manufacturers. I just passed the 4 year mark with my RDX, and had quite a punch list for my dealer prior to the expiration of my warranty...and I just turned 50K miles.
As far as the nav is concerned, I definitely agree, although I'll probably buy another. The convenience of ALWAYS having it, never having to fumble for it, no wires, etc. is just worth it to me. However, you are right, it is VERY plain jane. The MP3 player is cheesy as well - it doesn't even read tags.
What I've always been told is that the electronics in cars tend to be way behind because it takes so long to design the car. By the time the car is released, it's electronics are already outdated. I really don't know if this is correct, but it seems silly. It would be nice if the nav, mp3 player, and radio electronics were just designed as black boxes that can be popped in at the end. That said, if you compare the nav asthetics/gui of our Acuras to Nissan, Toyota, Infinity, Lexus, etc...ours win for the most boring.
