I'm thinking of buying one, but I need to know if golf clubs can fit across the in the cargo area with the back seat up.

Can you fit 2 sets with pull carts? Can you fit more than 2 sets without pull carts?

 

You should be able to fit in 2 sets with pull carts. Although the pull carts will have to be put in first and sit against the back seats. Near the back seats are the rear wheel wells and that area is not long enough for a bag to fit properly (unless you put it at an angle). More than two sets will fit but they will have to be stacked. I've only tested using a regular size golf bag and not an oversized bag.

I initially went to put my clubs in and did not think they fit straight across. But, after planing around, find that they do fit straight across at the very front (near the bumper) of the hatch. Just needed to angle them in a certain way. This is for regular men's clubs w/ a big ole oversized #1 driver.
