Going from 18" to 19"

For all of you owners that stepped up an inch, have you noticed that your vehicle is now significantly stiffer feeling? Or is it negligible? Looking to move to some 19s and want to hear your experiences.

Thanks!

The tire sidewall will be reduced, if you go with the same width tires, resulting in less give in the rubber and a stiffer ride.

I have had 19" rims on my RDX since May, and actually have found the look (less sidewall)on the tire, and upgraded rim a very nice way to standout among other RDX's.
As for performance the tires I purchased for the 19" were a more of a performance tire so there is performance difference, but it is difficult to compare because I didn't have the same tires on the 18".

The '07 RDX offered a stiifer ride than later models in which the springs and shock valve values were increased for comfort. (Due to complaints from owners) I ride on the stock 18's but will be going to 19's in September. The ride will be nice and firm, just the way I like it. Road noise will also change in pitch as well. If your RDX is 08+ you should be good.

So they did soften the springs and shocks for 08 and beyond?
