Gotta be kidding... but if not... remove your tires... set car to rest on jackstands, remove battery, drain oil, drain gas tank... heck drain everything...

I think you are kidding...

DONT DRAIN your oil, heck I'd do an oil change prior to storage and put fuel stabilizer in your fuel tank (keep your fuel tank full)

Also remove battery and store it in your basement and I'd put the car on jack stands and remove tires OR better yet if you can find 4 donut size tires and put those on.

Sell it. You are letting it depreciate without enjoying it.

just do like in back to the future 3, drain out the gas tank, put a car cover over it, and bury it in an abandoned mine.

Have someone you trust come and drive it once a week, otherwise your tires will go, your brakes will rust, you may have problems with oil, gas, spark plugs and battery. Yes even in the garage.

Whether you believe me or not, it's true. My 02 TL was garaged for 1 year, it went in for a complete service before hand, and everything checked out. I drove it after a year, it started but it took a bit, it had a burning smell, it's performance was out (with a turbo too, it might be a problem, it was very uneven as well as the brakes seemed weird), and i took it to Acura for a check up.

They called back and told me that it had to go in for another overhaul...so oil change, they said the tires will last, but they might be uneven, and my brakes had FULLY rusted (i even have the old set of brakes taken off my TL, and they are fully SHOT). So even though it went in for a full service, it had to go again.

So the best bet is to have someone come and drive it once around the block or use it for a day (lightly) but just enough to keep the vehicle running..if it's not used the brakes rust and will stop working.

Like i said, whether you believe me or not, I don't care, but i'm speaking from experience.

Sell it or ask the dealership to do a full preservation for the oil and fuel lines.

Yes, driving it occasionally (until it is fully warmed up) is best.

I can appreciate why jackstand storage saves the tires, but bear in mind, if there was a fire; no one would be able to get it out of the garage.

The ONLY way to do this right is to have someone drive it...at least monthly, preferably weekly.
