Former TSX drivers

Are there any regrets from giving up your TSX for a RDX?

I'm actually adding another Acura to the family. I traded my 2003 SAAB 9-3 sports sedan for the RDX. I currently drive the 2005 TSX, but my wife will be taking up the TSX, while I take the RDX.

My mom just bought an RDX and I drive an 06 TSX. I like the RDX and it has great power compared to the TSX but I LOVE my TSX and it is actually my second TSX.

I LOVE my TSX too but I need something a little bigger. I wasn't wowed by my test drive in the RDX so I am looking to get other folk opinions.

What didn't you like about the test drive? You're going to be hard pressed to find a better handling SUV, even with a BMW or Porsche. If you want more cargo space, the MDX is top rated in its class.

Ive driven the RDX a few times since my mom got hers and I really like how it drives. It is a lot of car for the price like most Acuras and you won't be able to get another small luxury SUV such as a BMW X3 for that kind of money. It looks good like the TSX and has great power compared to the TSX. The one thing I don't like is how the front of the RDX seems to be higher than the back. If I was looking for an SUV and could afford it I would go with the RDX since it has the sportiness of the TSX and the turbo engine. I also agree that the MDX is a beautiful SUV if you need more room and power. I couldn't really tell you if I would regret losing my TSX to the RDX since I didn't trade mine. Good Luck

The test drive was good. I drove it for about 30min. Wasn't a fan of the bumpy ride but it's liveable. Overall I think that it is a 8.5 out of 10. My main complaint is that I feel that the RDX is not finished. Acura left out very simple things that people would have gladly paid the extra few hundred dollars. Like the TSX the power passenger seat and other small things will be added in 08. The price will probably rise 500 dollars. I know that will buy one but I don't think that I can wait for the 08 in August.

I didn't even realize there was no power passenger seat. LOL! There are still no auto dimming rearview mirror standard and no auto on headlights. I can't believe that Acura hasn't caught on to that yet.

Ther is no doubt that the RDX is the best for money.

Here are my prediction for additions in 08

standard power passenger seat
standard autodim mirror
windows all down operation(great feature can't figure out why they left this out)
IVES option

What I would like to see.

trunk release button on fob
change the center console opening
rear climate control

All great ideas, hopefully they add them. Another thing is that I can't believe the size of the center storage compartment. Its like a bottomless pit!

I had an IS300, not a TSX. I liked the IS so much more, and I came from an Integra prior to the Lexus.

I miss the turning radius and I miss the auto-dimming rear and side-view mirrors.
I miss the 'less cluttered' dash and the metal pedals and the passenger power seat.

I loved my IS but I don't miss it like I thought I was going to.

I love my RDX.

I had 2 TSX's, 6 spd and A/T. Sorry but as much as I liked it I don't miss it all. Well maybe the better gas mileage because the gas keeps rising daily. Can't have your cake and eat it too though.

The only thing I missed was the 6 speed, other than that, no regrets!

I have been on travel in Tampa this week. There are alot of TSXs around. I miss the way the TSX handled with just a sway bar.

I'm still a current TSX owner although I like the RDX, unfortunately I have my eyes set either keeping the TSX for awhile or trade it in for the upcoming Infiniti EX35.

I traded our 9-3 for a MDX, then the sickly 9-5 for a TSX. Now considering trading the TSX for an RDX.

I owned an '04 TSX for 2 years, then got an '05 RSX-S, now have the RDX. I miss the handling and sportiness of the RSX, although the RDX seems just as fast. I really do like the RDX better than the TSX in all aspects though, definately faster, and I think it handles just as well basically
