I have a 2012 Acura RDX turbo with a FlashPro and I’m trying to disable the knock retard in the ECU. I’m running race gas and would like to have the knock strategy disabled to allow me the ability to tune the timing directly from the ignition timing tables. Below are the three table adjustments that I have made in an attempt to remove the timing retard. Even with these changes I still have timing knock retard and also see the K Value raise up over time. How have others worked around this?

Knock ignition limit low and high table: All cells set to “60”. Also tried all cells set to “0”.

Knock retard low and high table: All cells set to “0”.

Knock sensitivity low and high table: All cells set to “204”.

 

It's kind of a rest it and find out with the rdx. Most dyno tunes on these k23 motors never play with the knock/advance and retard timing because they have little room for error. That being said it's easier to buy parts and upgrade and tune to those than it is to do what you need. From what ive read everyone that tunes these never touches the knock tables. Hope you find what you need though it's interesting.
