DWS Nightmare!
After much research and opinions from this forum I put a new set of Conti DWS on my RDX on 8/31/11. I have now had to replace (3) three!!! of them in a short 3 ˝ months! On 9/10/11 I got a bubble in the RF tire. Needless to say it had to be replaced. Then recently I noticed part of the tread of the LR was literally sliced off. The tire was still holding air so I delayed dealing with it. Then yesterday I go to leave for lunch at work and the TPMS “dings” low pressure 20 P.S.I. in the LF. I was like WTF!!! I examine the tire and find a large screw in it. Crap.
So, I slowly drive to where I can put some air in it and then head over to Mavis Tire where I originally bought them. They didn’t have the DWS in stock but they over-nighted two new DWS tires and I got them replaced today. All is well again but for how long?!? The bubble was clearly a defect and the screw and cut was just bad luck I guess? It seems these tires are rather delicate and I would be hesitant to recommend them at this point. I bought them for their extremely good performance reviews but it seems like the rubber may be on the soft side not to mention the soft sidewalls and no lip.
I sure as heck hope I’m done with any more problems with these tires. This is getting ridiculous.

I've had the bubble issue before in a Pirelli P-Zero, so it happens occasionally. I think in my case the e-wife hit the curb and didn't tell me. However, you might check the country of manufacture/origin. It is either Germany or Brazil. The ones from Germany are a better product. (Brazilian AZ'ers, please don't PM me)
