I have gone through 2 sets of Acura carpet floor mats in two years for my 2007 RDX (wearing a hole where my heel hits the floor.) Can anyone recommend another, more durable brand of carpet floor mats? (I have a great Weathertech rear liner, but I'd like carpet inside.) Either mats with a reinforced heel strike area, or just more durable fabric. (I've seen a number of kinds from LLoyd online, but don't know if they really last any better.)

 

stop wearing cowboy boots with spurs and you should be just fine.

I cut a piece of pickup truck bed carpet and hot glued it to the heel area. Very tough stuff and still looks good after a few years now.

Cocomats look very good though -- may get a full set for my Ralliart.

 

As soon as the hole begain to appear I switched to the OEM all season mat. There is a new set on ebay right now if you want to save a few bucks, rather than get ripped at the stealership.
