Those of you who have the Acura MusicLink iPod interface, can you verify whether the AUX port is disabled or does it remain an active connection?

I'm thinking about buying an RDX with the MusicLink option, but would like to have AUX if MusicLink just doesn't work well for me (as I suspect based on all of the negative feedback I've read).

I think the aux still works with musiclink, but I haven't tested it. I will try to later today.

Also Colin mentioned that the musiclink option has been pulled by acura so don't know if you can get it anymore. Apparently having too many problems with it. Mine works great for what I want it to do, even though there is much room for improvement. Someone mentioned that the musiclink was dying after a period of use in the MDX. Or at least that was the chatter in the MDX forum...

I just verified, the musiclink does not disable the AUX port. In fact when you plug the cable in the AUX port, the head unit senses it and automatically switches to AUX.
