Does anybody else feel the same way?

I do...this is a good read

I'm in two states of mind: annoyance and resignation. It rather ticks me off that Acura felt it necessary to mediocritize my RDX—no longer the defining SH-AWD, no longer the feverish 2.3-liter turbo four but a plug-and-play corporate 3.6-liter V6, and significantly less joy at the wheel, by way of downward nominalization—but I understand why this vehicle is what it is. In the business, they call it product planning.

I feel the same way and I like the old turbo+sh-awd combo in the 07-12 RDX. I'm still holding out hope Acura will introduce a RDX Type-S version in +2015 with sh-awd, sport suspension, aggressive styling (or body kit) and more power.

We might see better aftermarket support with the increased sales of the +2013 RDX (suspension, body kits, I/H/E, etc…). Maybe CT Engineering will have a supercharger available for the 3.5L down the road. The +2013 could be almost as good as the 07-12 RDX with the right parts?

I think that you will be waiting for a long time. I don't think that Acura has the market for that kind of product (Type S RDX)....but there is a Type F RX, so I may be very mistaken.

Also, I believe that the NG RDX buyers are just like the MDX owners, not very interested in many modifications...heck, there were not that many products available for the first gen RDX, and that was a "performer".
