damn hail storm..

.. resulted in several dimples on the roof and a couple on the hood. Very small and not very deep. I'm thinking the sun beating down on the sheet metal with snap them back into place over time, or maybe I can use a hair dryer on them for faster results? Anyone with a similar experience?

Go through Insurance and have them pulled. Nothing will get them to pop back.

Insurance premium should not go up for this.

These guys are phenomenal! Removed a small crease in the front quarter panel, next to the hood on my '96 Mystic Cobra a few years back.

i had hail damage couple years back. nothing on the hood, but ya the roof took the worst of it. it sort of improved a lot over the past 1-2 years with just leaving it under the sun!

I'm on the fence between just leaving them or getting them fixed. Would only cost $250 out of pocket with insurance. There is only 1 dimple on the hood that is really noticeable, the other 3, and the dozen or so on the roof, you have to view from a certain angle in order to see them. My biggest concern is someone taking the headliner down, and then putting it back, and then some odd noise or rattle or something manifests itself later on.

Had the headliner removed on mine to fix leaking roof rack. The only issue I had was the dirt/grease left behind from the guy who put it back. That was 40k ago. Haven't had an issue.
