From Car and Driver, testing some of the RDX's competitors...interestingly enough the RDX was not included...I know that they can't include it in every single comparo, but the only ones I have seen so far is with the LR2 and X3...is it the price???

In this comparison, the price may be the reason...

But an interesting observation... for all those in this forum, that has been "grumbling" about the fuel economy... look at the tested fuel economy numbers...

the highest hwy mileage tested was ~ 24 mpg!

And the best city mileage was ~ 18 mpg!

So in reality, when you have full-time AWD and a heavy chassis, expect those numbers... fact of life with these kind of vehicles, unless you have a hybrid...

 

Given what they liked about the Murano and disliked about the CX-7, I think the RDX would have scored second behind the Murano......winning points for acceleration, handling, nice interior, neutral on the styling, and demerits for ride quality and road noise.

(They are very inconsistent about handling vs ride and comfort and fuel economy in these tests.)
