Check charging system

My guess is either the alternator or battery connections . If you have a simple multi meter , you can check the alternator’s output with engine running, you should have around 14 volts .
Or it’s a battery cable issue. How many miles on your RDX anyway ?

If you still have meter ,I’d check voltage with engine running with lights, blower motor and other high demand items on next . The alternator/ regulator should spike higher than 13.3 volts in my opinion.
My wife’s 2010 CRV alternator ( same design) crapped out at 140k , battery light on and a definite electrical smell if you will was present. I bought my RDX 4 years ago at 115 K with a replaced alternator installed.
I went with new vs rebuilt for wife’s ride for many reasons too …. Good luck

For what’s it’s worth, I went with a new Duralast alternator from Autozone in August 21 because my youngest was working there at the time for $219 .
Where ever you buy , they all want that core full of copper for some reason …
