Canada Gets Royal Blue
Hey there Canadians! If anyone up there spots a 2010 RDX in Royal Blue, please take some pics and post. Thanks! ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Also, does anyone know if U.S. dealers can do a special order to get a Royal Blue in the States and, if so, how much extra that might cost?

Just checked out the Royal Blue on Acura's Canadian site (www.acura.ca). Looks good, but only shows front 3/4 angle. Configurator doesn't seem to give rear view option like the U.S. site. Also, looks like Taupe interior is unavailable with Royal Blue - only Ebony.

The dealership I am buying my RDX from in Houston, TX has a Blue RDX AWD-Tech listed on the on-line inventory. www.championacura.com
I wonder if this is accurate.

Just checked Champion's on-line inventory and looks like it is accurate. When I selected that vehicle it also listed the color as blue on the overview info. Hmmm ... Wonder if we're restricted to Ebony interior like they are in Canada (that would suck). Shame there's such bad blood between you and Champion, or you could check it out in person. Oh well, thanks for the info BioCin. I'll check with the local dealership to see what the deal is with Royal Blue.

My experience with the online inventory is they list the vehicles once Acura USA notifies them of the vehicle that they are receiving. So even through it may be listed in their inventory, it may not be at the dealership yet. When I called about one vehicle listed, they said it wouldn't arrive for 10 more days.

Yeah, I don't blame you. I am sure those pushy salesman tell each other, "Yeah, I got this dope for (some random ridiculous amount)," when the customer leaves. Most of those guys don't care about customer service. They don't realize that businesses don't survive without repeat customers.

Guess I'm lucky -- the sales guy I've always dealt with here is great (Dave Allen at Frankel Acura). Super nice and no back and forth BS when negotiating price. That's why I'm holding off, out of consideration for him so I don't get his hopes up for nothing.
