You added the RDX logo/emblem on the drivers door right?
CHrome + red is really a NEAT combination! Congrats
I really don't know what to think of the red color at Acura. I saw it on a RDX at the dealers Showroom and it definitly looked Burgundy or Darker red...
In the brochure it looks more like real regular red (kinda like Ferrari Red)
Yours is more burgundy... however not being an ass here but did you noticed the color difference between your rear bumper and the body paint???
This is crazy why such noticeable difference? For a 30,000+ car.
To people in the know, is it something common with the RDX (what about other colors)

you should read '4 hr work week'....amazing things can happen when people snap out of it.
basically there are a ton of reasons people use between leasing and owning. if you lease through your business, that in itself is enough reason.
however....at the end of the day, your payments continue every single month as long as you keep on driving (and leasing) which is a viscious cycle, once u start, its hard to be in a position to stop and buy without taking a big hit in the wallet. that is where i stand.

Driving a new car every 2-4 years is an expensive proposition, no matter how you do it: by paying cash every time, taking out a loan, or leasing. Depending on the current deals, one of these three ways may be a little cheaper, but you can never say for sure since it is not easy to predict the depreiation curve of your car.
The most frugal way to drive is buying a 2-year old Honda or Toyota for cash and keeping it until the wheels fall off. But, you've got to admit, a new car is a new car, and Acura is Acura -- you enjoy it much more than a 10-year old clunker. Yes, you pay more, often a lot more. Is it worth it? Everyone decides for himself.
"Stop and buy" after a lease is over? I don't foresee a problem with that -- if necessary. It is all about financial self-discipline. If you can't count money, you'll end up broke anyway. Otherwise it doesn't matter whether you lease, finance, or pay cash: if you gave enough thought to your decision, you'll be fine.
Peace!

EX35 vs RDX pricing
I have done quite a bit search lately as I was trying to compare a few similar ones for my wife.
EX35 is definitely more expansive (34K-42K) compared with RDX ($32k-34k). By the way, you can compare the actual prices people paid for the two models here: EX35 vs RDX

So that makes your EX significantly more expensive than an RDX. Which is fine, as the EX has many features the RDX doesn't.
So you paid $42k for the EX, and most people would be paying approximately $35-36k for an RDX Tech. $7k is a pretty big jump.

Just closed on my '08 RDX
Just pulled the trigger on an '08 RDX and I couldn't be happier. Went with a 2008 Tech model in Polished Metal Metallic with ebony interior. Dealer threw in all season mats, rear bumper applique and wheel locks. Paid a shade over $32K. I'll add a few odds and ends after I get the car home next week. I'll be the grinning guy whooshing by in a rush of turbo boost!
