Best aftermarket rotors for RDX
Hello folks, I am looking to replace my current aftermarket noname rotors with something that lasts alot longer and higher quality then OEM.
Quick google shows there are:
EBC
POWER STOP
POWERSLOT
STOPTECH
HAWK
Has anyone used any of the above with good success? I drive my RDX very hard and OEM rotors have lasted for about 40000km, and cheap aftermarket were burned after about 15000km.
Cheers.

Also have experience with Powerslot and they were good, but I didn't put a ton of miles on them so no long term feedback. EBC and Hawk are both well respected so you can't likely go wrong there.

i read somewhere power stop and stoptech are pretty much the same just rebranded.. I have been running power stop rotors for about 12 years on different vehicles and never had issues.. ive ran EBC green stuff, hawk hps, axxis ult, and stoptech pads. through the years and find stoptech has been the better pad for me.. people swear by hawk pads but to me they are noisy and hard to get a good bite in the colder rain conditions we see in the PNW.. the rdx front brakes are undersized to begin with IMO so if you want to get some good stopping power you may want to save alittle more and get a BBK

The best rotors are not made yet for our RDX's yet.
Wilwood and Baer are a couple of high-end brake mfg's. You'd need to spend ~ $600 if you really want the best.
Wilwood has a program to source and mfg the proper parts here:
Wilwood High-Performance Disc Brakes - New Brake Kit Development
I've brought up a few times here that breaking in your brakes is the biggest thing you can do to make your brakes last their longest.
Rotor seasoning and pad bedding are covered in the Baer tech link here:
Technical Information - Baer Brakes
I used Baer Eradispeed two piece rotors and Performance Friction pads on our vert over 10 yrs ago. They have worked well for more than 60k mi so far, including 5 Auto-cross days. (5/32 GY F1 supercar tires not so much- they last ~ 20k mi)
I checked Baers website and they don't have an RDX rotor set in their import line yet. It would take some work to get them to source the correct fitment.

Try Ebay, I got mine off it. Front and rear cross-drilled. Works great, way better than factory rotors, no more fading after repeated braking stops. Just make sure the seller is 100% rating and also the rotors certified to be made in USA or Canada.

I've put those on a few cars, and for the $$ have been pretty impressed.
