RDX scraped against the side of the garage and now theres white paint on the front left quarter and front bumper. It doesnt seem like paint was broke...can I buff this out ? If so any recommendations for what to use ?

 

I use Meguiar's or Mother's Cleaner wax. It eats through bugs/tar/paint residue.

 

Don't use a cleaner/wax. You do not want wax on it before you repair it. Cleaner/wax is similar to using deodorant instead of taking a shower.

I recommend starting with Maguiar's Glaze. If that does not do the trick then move to their more aggressive paint cleaners. Only when you are satisfied with the results, put some good wax over it.

 

I would post this in the wash and wax forum for some more ideas.

 

He isn't looking to repair it, he is looking to REMOVE the paint that scraped on. I've had a few dings/paint streaks from other cars and they came right off with cleaner wax.

 

Easy fix: Use a claybar and some water. Worked for me when I did the same thing.
