July 2006 issue page 42 has a one page article on the RDX. I just sold my Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 with the idea of getting a midsize SUV. Toyota 4 runner was on the top of my list, but then I saw this. AWD, turbo 4 with good power, paddle shifters, sips gas and the quality of an Acura.... I am in love. Hopefully the price does not let me down. I priced an MDX in the low 30s. I figure the RDX is going to be priced below the MDX (right?) so I hope I can get one of these in the low 30s . Hopefully I won't spend too much time here (not another car forum ). BTW... I can't believe how many damn emoticon thing-a-ma-bobbers there are on this site. <<<What the hell is up with this guy?

A premium MDX has an MSRP of 37400. They are available for less because the next generation MDX is on the way. The RDX price range is 32-37000 according to early publications. With about 35,000 cars available per year, (all trims combined) I'd expect the cars to go pretty much at full price for a while.

I'm sure you will find useful information and many new friends here that will enhance your ownership experience.
The emoticon (or "smilie") of which you speak represents one of our moderators, Dom.
Many mods, all admins, and many old members have their own, personal "smilies"

Welcome Groupie- I too came from a 3000GT (although I was an SL without the gobs of power you had). Currently in a 6 speed TSX and loving it. Takes a little getting used to in using the high RPMs of Honda engines but once you get the hang of it, definitely fun cars to drive.

Selling my 3000gt was tuff, I mean look at it:
The problem was that I didn't get to drive it much, since I have a company car for work, and on weekends my wife has to drive, since she's pretty phobic after getting in a terrible car accident. She wouldn't drive my Mitsu, so it sort of became an expensive garage ornament that I took out once a week. I am looking for something fun for both of us to drive and also needs to be an SUV. Gas prices suck right now. We want something upscale and reliable. That is why I am checking out this forum.
