Anyone used coolant in their RDX other than...
the Honda Type 2 long life coolant?
Did anyone try using prestone long life coolant in their RDX before?
I bought some Honda Type 2 coolant for like $18.00 a jug at a local Mass. Honda dealer here. it is definitely more expensive than what I paid for in Canada.
Didn't know if the formulation in the Honda Type 2 coolant is important for the RDX engine, so didn't chance it.
I do find that I have to top up a little every 1-2 months, not much, say 200 mL or so. I like to keep the coolant level topped at the "max" level line.

you can save money by buying at Honda dealer, Acura dealers basically sell the same for more, and the only difference is the bottle label, one says Honda, another says Acura. But I confirmed from parts department that the content is IDENTICAL, just different branding to make you feel special about Acura brand.
