Anyone change their cabin filter yet?

Is it difficult to change out the cabin filter in the RDX?

Just changed my wife's TSX; might be totally different - but it was pretty easy. The directions were included in the box (autozone). It was "hidden" behind the glove compartment. Once you unclipped the arm, holding the glove compartment door, you slide out a rubber try and replace the paper filter - was kind of dirty after two years

I bought one from Tim at HondaAcuraWorld but I haven't replaced it yet. They are kind of pricey for the RDX. I think I paid around $30, but it was a while ago so not sure on that. I've been meaning to take mine out to check to see how dirty it gets.

Where is the cabin filter located and how do we get access to it?

I stumbled upon it while trying to fix a dash rattle (I tend to get a little obsessive about such things). It is behind the glove box. To get to it, open the glove box. Empty the glove box. On each side of the glove box there are small tabs that keep it from flopping out. Bend in the sides of the glove box and pull it forward (do one side at a time). Then there is a pressurized arm on the right side. If you push down on it at the end connected to the actual glove box, it should snap free. The filter box is right behind there. If I remember right, it just slides out.

I have had mine since August in the thick of southern pollen and it was very far from needing replacing so you might be jumping the gun.

Okay, it is exactly like the same procedure as for my TSX. Thanks.
