Anyone buy RDX this or last month?
Wondering what deals there are out there right now. I read someone had 2 dealers give them $2500 dealer cash and $1500 AHFC loyalty incentive. When I asked one dealer here in CO he said that was for leased vehicals. Is that bull?
I want to upgrade my 2008 base black to a 2009 tech grey, but not if it's going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I bought in march, but Acura has renewed the 2500 mfr to dlr rebate and loyalty is good but there are some notes...

Thanks for the info!
hmm, it's a bit confusing. I just got off the phone with Acura services 1-800-382-2238. They said there are no rebates going on right now. The only deal is the $1500 Loyalty rebate for leased vehicals, not purchased ones.

I bought my RDX at the end of March and got the $2500 dealer cash incentive from Acura.
I agree with the other poster regarding checking Edmunds.com for prices and incentives. That's where I did my research and I got a good deal.

I bought my RDX March 28th. They said there were no incentives, BUT Edmunds and CarDirect listed the average RDX for 33ish. I went in with this figure and after two figure runs to his manager, the sales man agreed to $33k. If you research Edmunds, RDX stock is extremely high and buyers all over the US, especially the east coast are getting tech's for mid $32k's.

Price paid for 2009 RDX Tech dark grey
used this forums price paid to negotiate the dealer in Austin TX down to $33400.00 plus TTL for a 2009 RDX tech package with a rubber utility mat for the trunk three weeks ago also printed edmunds "what people are paying" and got an initial internet quote of $34500. Used this as my starting point and only took our sales guy two trips to the manager to get the price we wanted

I emailed about 10 or so Acura dealers across Texas asking for a quote (out the door price) on 09 RDX Techs they had in stock. Place in Arlington (Vandergraff or something like that) quoted me $32,600 plus TTL. When I went to buy it was pretty easy to negotiate down to $32,500 since I already had the competing quote.
I think it took my guy 3 or 4 "trips to the manager" before I got the price I wanted. On the second to last offer I told my wife, "ok, we're leaving" and he begged me to stay and went for one more trip and magically got the price I wanted.

Did you have a trade in?
When you don't have a trade you can always get a lower price on the car because there is no other end to the deal.
In my case I got them up to $1000 OVER Edmunds and KBB "excellent' trade in value. And got the RDX for $33000.
If you look at it the other way I got exactly excellent value and the RDX for $32000. It really is all at how you look at the numbers when trading a car in.

I bought a white/taupe RDX tech on 6/4 for 31.9k + $100 dealer fee for an even 32k. It's my first Acura and my first SUV. I'm definitely enjoying the ride. I just went through edmunds website which automatically e-mailed all the dealers around me and they sent me quotes. I picked the lowest quote I found and took it to another dealer that had the color combo I wanted in stock.
My previous car was a 2006 Pontiac GTO 6-speed manual. I loved that car but I got tired of the manual, especially that car's manual is really bad. Everything else was awesome about that car, I was really surprised since I was expecting the RDX to be fast and rough riding, and it was neither that fast nor rough. It's all relative! I sold my car on Craigslist in 3 days since the dealer tried to lowball me.
After my car was sold, the RDX definitely felt fast since I didn't have a 400-hp frame of reference. I still disagree with the ride being firm, it's perfect for me, long travel + firm suspension means never bottoming out.
