No one has tried this as yet. There was a guy that was asking about installing an Greddy E- Manage about a year ago but we never heard from him again.
I was thinking of doing the AEM; even found the most compatible version too but never got around to actually buying the thing! I still think that it will work quite well, just wont be able to move the rev limit like the Hondata.

is it possible to install an aftermarket boost controller on the rdx instead of using the hondata?

if not, then hondata + aem fic would probably be the best route to go... hondata for increased rpm and boost settings, and the fic for fine tuning depending on supporting mods (intake, downpipe, exhaust)

any idea how much boost and hp the engine and tranny can actually handle????

Since the Hondata was tuned mainly with just an aftermarket exhaust (cat back) and said to be ok with an added intake mod,the addition of a larger downpipe would definately warrant more tuning (more fuel richening). So the application of the FIC would be a very good idea!

I'd say that it could take as much as the engine could produce ( with a safe tune)!

An aftermarket boost controller is qute a tricky setup on this vehicle due to how the wastgate is setup in this application. Also too much of a boost increase will throw a check light and send the ECU into limp mode!
