Acceleration seizure when uphill
Hello,
Please I need help. My Rdx 2007 refuses to accelerate when uphill. If I pedal down it will surge, seize, surge, seize. But when downhill or plain ground it goes smoothly
What could be the culprit?

Possible transmission issues. Make sure it's clean and full, not over filled or empty. Also check the transfer case for awd as well, I know the Mazda cx7 had this issue and Mazda refused to acknowledge it. Transmission overheats hauling/ up steep hills and the transmission was the issue, it's worth a shot. Free to check not much for oil.
