2012 RDX cargo volume question
My wife is looking at moving into this vehicle froma Honda Pilot, she wants to downsize a bit, she loves the RDX and the lease rates here in Canada make it very favourable. One concern I have is the cargo capacity, mainly we have a daughter who plays hockey, would you think that a hockey bag and sticks could fit in the back, or would you have to drop a seat to fit it in. Could it fit two hockey bags in back, possibly. The pilot will handle this so not sure if this is the right vehicle for her. I know the MDX would work but it is much more expensive.

I fit my 90lbs male rottweiler in the cargo area with the back seats still up.
He is able to move around and try to bite the wind that comes thru the open window from both side when I am driving on the highway.

easily
my son also plays and I could fit two full bags and sticks in my old RDX and still hold 4 people too.
Baseball season, I could fit 5 baseball bags and 5 people. It was tight, but it worked.
Plenty of cargo space

Are the hockey sticks in the back cargo area or are they between the driver and passenger or I mean down the middle and is this with the back seats in the upright position, so two people can sit in back. Thanks Guys!

I would fold one seat down so the stick would fit and not rub any leather.
If your daughter is young and short, her stick may fit in the hatch alone... my 14 yr old is 5'4" so his is a little long to fit in just the hatch.
Same with my EX35. I fold one seat down and can fit two large hockey bags easily.
