2011 vs 2010 RDX
2011 vs 2010 RDX
I got quotes for both 2010 and 2011 RDX models ( AWD with tech package) from my local dealership. Both brand new but 2010 RDX is 2 grand less than the newer version. Which one would you guys recommend? Are there any major improvements in 2011 over 2010 that are worth the additional 2 grand. I sincerely appreciate your input.
I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there are any changes between 2010 and 2011. If you're planning on reselling the car, I'd get the 2011 for resale value. Otherwise, I'd get the 2010, and also see how much lower they're willing to go since the 2011s are here already.

2011 has been out for some time. if owning long term and dont really care, get the cheaper one. realize that the future is uncertain for the RDX; either a redesign soon or maybe a different model variant...that being the case, if u may turn the vehicle over in the next few years, ull take a big hit on the 2010; either way whatever you gain on the front end ull take the hit on the back end.
No difference in the models, either. if you opt for the 2010, they need to do much better than 2k. its already a year old, and made its way past a clearance sale, too, where it could have probably sold for less as well. Also, assume that best case scenario, the TECH model really sells closer to 36, maybe 35 new right now, many buyers on here have gotten great deals.

+1 re mike on 2011- coz honda just confirmed (tho no details) that there'll be a new (not just tweaks) 2012 cr-v (and i suspect 2012 "rdx"). my work colleague covers honda (the stock)and their investor rel'ns team just came to town last week. would suspect that rdx is in the works too
