2010 rdx

Saw a few dozen 2010 RDX's tonight in the port after being unloaded off the boat. Very sharp looking. I actually like the front end of it. The only thing that I really didn't like was the black plastic on the rear bumper. I think they screwed up with that detail. Otherwise, I think this may be my next vehicle!

I ordered my 2010 RDX from Houston and they said it would be arriving by train from Canada. Maybe different areas get them from different places?

I work for the railway. I was pulling and spotting empty railcars in the port when I saw all the 2010's. Get to see some pretty cool cars needless to say. The railcars go all over Canada from the port in BC where I work out of.

how much did you get it for? if you don't mind me asking. I'm right in the middle of talking with my dealership in picking up a Crystal black pearl 2010 Rdx myself

he quoted 38k and was asking for 589/mo on a 12000 mile 39 month lease

We actually haven't settled on a price yet. I was supposed to buy a 09 back in July and the Dealer Cash and 2.9% financing expired so they couldn't honor the price they quoted me. So I decided to wait untill the 2010's, and they put it on order for me with no money down ONLY because of what happened. The Internet Salesmanager told me to wait untill the car comes in to negotiate the price. I am guessing just in case Acura does another Dealer Cash incentive or financing special. So as of this moment no details have been worked out, except that I have the interior and exterior color I wanted on order for me.

Champion Acura Gulf Freeway in Houston
Jeremy Pratt is who you want to talk to.

Was at the dealer for service about a month ago (~ 2 weeks before the 2010's arrived), and asked the sales rep if prices on the 2010's would be negotiable. He said definitely, that sales (in general) were still crappy, and that "It's good to be you [car buyer] right now."

I've been monitoring the dealer's on-line inventory of 2010 RDX's -- seems like they're only getting 1 or 2 at a time, but selling pretty quickly. Given that, I'm not sure how "negotiable" the prices will be anymore, but I would think you could still get somewhat of a break. When I bought my RSX-S in early 2006 (when economy was good), I asked how negotiable the price was, and he took off $1000 just like that -- and for a car that wasn't even on the lot (had to order). Always ask.

Just go to a different dealership. What I did was sent a fax to nine dealerships from Atlanta to Houston, minus New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and said "My name is so & so from New Orleans. Would you please reply to this fax with your best bottom line price on a 2010 RDX AWD-Tech including Dest. & Handling, and w/o TTL. I am a legitamate buyer and am willing to travel to your location. Please respond by faxing your offer to 555-555-5555." I did this in early July with the 09's. Out of nine dealerships I recieved one offer back and it was for $32,467 for a 09 tech. All it takes is one reply. Two dealerships, houston and mobile, didn't recieve the fax though so it was out of seven. And if no-one fax's you back call them and tell them the same thing. Shop the market. For me a one way ticket to houston is $100 before lunch time, and New Orleans quoted me $34,944, it was a no brainer for me to deal with houston and save about $2,500.

BioCin -- your story is about ordering an '09, but your sig states you have a '10 on order. Is the $32,467 dealer quote for an '09 or a '10? If it's for the '09, but you now have a '10 on order, what kind of deal did you get on the '10?

I'm at the Acura dealership now and they have a 2010 RDX. The new rear makes it look CHEAP ! The darker headlight housings are nice but the new foglight area looks odd. I think it looks worse in person. I will stick with my 08.
