2010 mdx

everything that should have and could have happened to the RDX, well, the MDX got.

things we have all been saying, myself included, about interior treatments, exterior work, transmission, engine tune, options, suspension, you name it, the 2010 MDX has received.

better leather, better/new suspension, bigger brakes, 6 spd tranny, stronger engine, sport driving mode, better MPG, revised/new interior & gauges, ventilated seats...the RDX is now the bastard child of Acura

not bad at all. i'll definitely consider this as my next purchase if i decide to have a second child. meanwhile, i'll continue to enjoy the drivability of my 08 RDX.

on a side note. my friend just bought an 09 MDX last month. hope he's not kicking himself for not waiting a few months more...

i hope not, Acuras best vehicle just got a whole lot better

i dont understand the logic of the company, not doing these types of mid model changes to all of the vehicles (like giving them better, updated equipment across the board)...if anything is in desperate need, it is/was the RDX...im trying hard to figure out how the 2010 will survive another 2-3 years on a design from 06, i mean its sales have sucked and given the heat of its segment cant see why theyd pick up more with the (un)refreshed and basically identical 2010, offering nothing new and no reason to upgrade.

i love the MDX, but Acura is a weird company. all of their vehicles should have the same if not very similar treatment, i dont get why for a supposed luxury brand, they have their basically economy cars (2wd RDX?), midline (TSX/RDX) and high tier (MDX/RL/ TL?) - there should be some sort of luxury standard that all the models should adhere to, and then build on that. I mean, take a tech package RDX @ 38k; a loaded RDX should have, at the very least as options, some of the awesome MDX equipment. Theres no reason to stagger the vehicles the way they do..theres no harm in having an RDX model that could reach over 40k - if someone is willing to option the car, and pay for it, thats all gravy for Acura, but just offer it! Personally, the perfect vehicle would be the RDX, with the equipment of the MDX, save a few thousand, and have a better driving experience. ID pay 40-42k for it...? Why not?

Couldn't agree more.

The RDX was lagging a bit, so give it a few more options, a few more appearance changes and hold the price. Skip the FWD model and give put the 2.3T and AWD in the TSX to differentiate it from the bigger TL instead of giveing the TSX the FWD TL's engine.

Even their high end RL is a joke compared to the competition and the new TL isn't getting much for positive reviews.

But the good MDX just got a nice refresh while the RDX got a new beak.

I ordered my '10 MDX Tech yesterday. It is Polished Metal Metallic with Taupe interior. The bad news is that due to the transmission problem I will not get it until December or later. My salesperson said the MSRP should be about 3% above the '09s.

MDX is nice but it felt way too big after I got in it after the RDX. It made me feel like a family man, which I am not yet...
