2009 RDX P16D9 warning and reprogramming
My RDX 2009 shows Brake Waring P16D9, I searched online see
Acura is reporting that all 2007-08 RDX trucks, as well as 2009 models built from VIN 5J8TB1…9A000001 through 5J8TB1…9A007865, are prone to illuminating the amber brake system warning indicator and logging trouble code P16D9 in PCM memory. Acura attributes the condition to the PCM misinterpreting the feedback signals from the electric vacuum pump. Flashing the module with new software is the only way to eliminate the condition. Check with a dealer for the specifics of the reprogramming job.
Anyone has the same problem and how dealer charge to do reprogramming?
