2008/2009 RDX or RX350 or MDX
Hi,
I am in the Market for Used SUV. My budget is around 20K and narrowed down to RDX (We are just married and drive mostly in Urban Ottawa with periodic trips (not offroading though) ,so cargo space is not a problem)
I am also considering the Lexus RX350 and some recommend MDX for 3-4k differnce.
Resale is also a concern for me .(After 2013 Will the RDX become the rare Turbo)
Opinions are most welcome

I think that for the budget you are setting, RDX is your car.
I personally found the RX tooooooo boring to drive, and I believe that the MDX is out of your range, unless you get a high miles vehicle.
If I had a second chance to do it all over again, I would have gotten an MDX, at the time it was just too expensive for me.

Finally i decided to go with rdx .
i have two deals
pearl white 2008 rdx for 17 k with 100k kms
grey 2007 rdx tech package for 16k with 125 kms on it.
not sure which one to decide . Is 2007 tech package worth the over 2008
Thanks in advance

Keep in mind, the only difference between the 07 tech and te 08 base are a softer-ish suspension, navigation and els sound.
One more thing to consider is that the white color bumpers don't match the rest is the car and I dont know how much you care about that.
I actually just traded in my 06 tech yesterday, it had 62k miles.

hi
i finally got an used (135k kms ) black on black 07 rdx base.
the 2007 rdx tech package was sold and th 08 rdx looked too much scratches for my liking
do you see any problems at 140 k ??? i waas only worried about that . the car was kept clean .. will post pic soon

Between those two I'd probably go for the tech. Cheaper and I'm not sure that 25k kms make a difference.

Congrats on the purchase! Only time will tell, but to be perfectly honest, having had the car for four years and not having had any mechanical issues, I'd bet that 140k is fine.
