2007 RDX radio problems
The radio in my RDX stopped working, for the most part. I can increase volume higher and lower but I can not change radio stations or change tracks on a cd or anything like that. In addition, the screen is basically "frozen" (non tech model). I figure maybe the head unit is bad because the cd changer still loads CDs and what not. I guess I am a bit confused about which portion is the radio/brains and which part needs to be replaced. I see replacement radios on ebay but it doesn't look like what I have (unless there's one hidden under the dash panel which I haven't removed yet). Or is the CD changer the brains? Sorry if that's a dumb question but my wife has the car and I don't have access to it at the moment.

Anyone? Is this a common problem? Is the radio head unit in any way related to the hvac system? The AV stopped blowing cold right around this time as well....could be coincidental and just need a recharge but wasn't sure what all intermingles under there.

Just make sure you have the radio code before disconnecting the battery as you will need it after reconnecting...........
