hello there. Just joined this site. My front windshield needs to be replaced ASAP, I have 15 daysto fix it according to the cops. My question... will a 2008 windshield fit my 2007 ? Or does anyone have ANY information for me? Please help. I'm a girl and I'm no good at this car stuff.

Just because you're a girl, doesn't mean anything. I'm a guy and I would have no clue without asking either. Doesn't your insurance policy cover windshield replacement with no dings to your insurance rating?

Definitely call your insurance. For example, my policy replaces windshields with a $100 deductible.

It's probably quicker to just call your local windshield repair shop to get a quote. Or ask your Acura dealer to recommend one. I just replaced our 2010 RDX cracked windshield last week for $150, for your reference.

I checked and for whatever reason the '07 has a different ws part number than the '08.

So good question, op.

If OP is looking for a direct OEM replacement, then swapping might be a good idea. True, most insurance policies cover a windshield replacement, but it's usually inferior glass. Hence why it's so cheap. I just went through this hassle with State Farm last fall when I tried to get my AP Tech windshield replaced with another AP Tech windshield for my 2005 Acura TL.

AP Tech is the manufacturer of most 1st generation RDXs too, so I would try and call your agent to see if getting that is an option. They will definitely try to beat around the bush, but try to push as hard as you can. New glass will be better than old pitted glass.
