08 RDX Cheap?!

Hey everyone. I found a 08 with 107k miles with the 105k service done from a private seller with the 'works' for 12k. Is that really cheap?

Been reading everything for the RDX for the past week but since I'm making this thread anyways...

How's the MPGs? Is 25-27MPG highway reasonable? 15-20 City?

How's the longevity of the Turbo?

Does it fit 5 comfortably? Average 5'2-5'9 (140-200)

Thanksssss

Most I've gotten on the highway is 24 mpg. With winter gas, expect a little less. Around town (which is suburban/rural for me), I get about 20 mpg. Not the greatest mpg but not horrible either.

The speed limit in southwest were I roam can range from 65-80 mph on the interstate and the elevation can range from below sea level in CA to 11,000 ft in CO. I've never seen anything above 21.5 mpg on the hwy. Our normal driving of 60% hwy and 40% city give us a combined about 20 mpg; which, I'm cool with. The RDX does better with the summer blend gas compared to the 10% hit I take on mpgs on the oxygenated winter junk.

I can get around 26-27 mpg combined and 31-32 mpg on the hwy with my 5AT TSX on the same routes; but, the TSX is not as much fun to drive because of the lack of the turbo/sh-awd and has limited space for long trips.

As far as the turbo, nobody knows? I haven't seen very many threads about failing turbos on this forum. I'm planning to take my RDX to 150,000 miles before I think about selling her (I have 80,000 miles now). So far so good and I have Hondata for +2 years.

If you want good mpg's buy a CrV. The RDX is a hog that feeds on premium gas.

I picked up my RDX for 14 so I'd say 12 is a good deal. Mine had 105k miles. Purchased from a dealer.

Carfax or maintenance records? One of the perks for my purchase was it was taken to a acura dealership every 5k miles.

I just paid $21.5 for an '09 base with 31k miles. It was a CPO car that had all new tires, rear diff and brake flush, new rear rotors, refinished front rotors, etc. Service for that was $2,400.

Thanks for the responses. 20 average is not bad. I'm just hoping for 24 highway. CRV es ugly.

All maintenance done at a local independent shop with the 105k service with receipts. New tires as well.

I do 99% city driving and I only get about 15mpg, according to the car, my usual avg speed seems to hover around 18mph, this is San Francisco, so there is a lot of traffic and hills, so that may be a reason as well.

I average about 22mpg in mixed city/hwy driving. As stated earlier...not bad but not great. I have 115K miles on mine (bought used 3 yrs ago with 55K). No complaints. Recently did rotors and pads all the way around. Other than that, just the general maint. stuff.

Did you buy it? I just bought a salvage 2007 rdx, tech, for $8500. I expect to have under 11 in it after it is all fixed up. Not much damage aside from the right real trailing arm, shock absorber, and taking care of the curtain airbag.

I get usually anywhere from 20-22 mpg in my daily driving. The best i have ever seen the car get was jsut shy of 26 when i made my last trip to Florida, but that was only on one tank. The other fill ups I had averaged about 23.

Now that I have my RDX for 2 months, this is what I am getting as well, a bit under 16mph with 99% city driving.
