Hey guys, I have lost my auxiliary cable and can't seem to find one that fits my 07 rdx. It's a different kind of cord correct? Doesn't the end that plugs into the rdx ( the Male end) has to have a hole in the middle because there's a pin inside the auxiliary port of the car. Best buy was no help for me today and I'm getting frustrated because I can't seem to find it. Hope someone can help me out and soon!

 

That's an industry standard 3.5mm port. Any aux cord will work, there's a slight resistance when plugging it in but it will work.

Ok, thanks guys. The thing is, somehow my last cord that worked, there's a hole in the middle of the pointed end, if that makes sense, so that's what kept confusing me. So, I'm guessing I need to take the part connected to the rdx apart and remove the pin out of the port. Shaking my head.. So that's whats stopping a regular 3.5 cord from working .

if yoursn't working it's either your device or your CD player. Try and make sure they're going into both devices fully. If one side goes in more then the other clean out the port and try again. Use air duster to blow the ports out.
Mine auto switches from FM to aux when I plug my cable into the port, hopefully yours does the same thing.
