Nice ride...and welcome to the club. I drive my NSX down to Atlanta every other year for Petite LeMans. You should be able to find a few other owners in SC though.

looks very cool. if you were to lower it - it would look a million times better. I know that is how they ride stock..but looking at your pics, I can't help but think it looks like a 4x4.
Honda/Acuras tend to have more fender gap that say, BMW. go look at a 335i with the sport package..and you'll see the wheel gap is very small...almost makes it look lowered, but it's not. Honda/Acura cars all look too high to me...
if you put a set of coilovers on it - I'm sure you could make it corner even MORE amazing..but I"m sure that would be a pricey upgrade.
just get a set of H&R springs. They cost about $300 for your car. INstall shouldn't be any more difficult or $$ than it would be to install on any other Honda/Acura..figure $150-200 labor, plust $70-80 to align it.
I just googled for pics of an NSX with H&Rs and found this..looks bad a$$..
you could add some wider wheels or just throw on some mild spacers to fill out the wheel wells...
it's your car.. do what you want to it..but lowering it would make it look better..more sleek, and more modern.

Very good looking car.
That color is amazing in the right light.
Sounds like you got a good buy. Great price and very good miles. What color interior? Looks black, but hard to tell.

Nothing wrong with all OEM NSX. They are becoming rarer and rarer by the day. If you do lower it don't throw cheap springs on the car. Actually do the research and get a quality coilover set. The NSX's handling is one of its trademarks. I wouldn't want to ruin it with just any coilover or springs. If it were me I would go Type S(Zanardi) or Type R(has a little bit of a rough ride to it though). Aftermarket BC Coilovers are getting great reviews from other owners. Even K&Ws are good.

in my opinion I would say leave that aspect of the car alone. I think the engineers that designed this timeless beauty understand what works and looks best. Plus if you going to be driving it on the street assuming not just a track car, then you going to hit some bumps, some driveways have deep slopes, etc etc. I'd leave the ground clearance alone.
I think a new set of rims and tires would be a good first upgrade!
