They are. And he didn't see any rust. Not on the body. Perhaps on rotors or something.
IMO if you aren't going to really DRIVE any car and enjoy it, then it's not worth buying unless you are a collector. A car like the NSX can never be really enjoyed on public roads unless you live some place in the middle of nowhere with nice roads.
I started tracking my NSX a year after I got it and I bought it with that intention in mind. That's how you can really see what an amazing car this is.
