alignment for sure and maybe a camber kit if you want to be safe.

Get an alignment. Yes, being out of alignment can make your tires wear unevenly.

My Tein S Tech's are roughly a 1.75" drop. I never got it aligned after installing them and the front tires wore unevenly.

as you lower a car, the wheels will start to tilt inwards at the top, a camber kit reverses these effects to make the wheels perpendicular to the ground again, therefore evenly wearing your tires, so you're not wearing them out more on one side than the other
but people have different views on them here, i'm slammed on coilovers with no camber kit, and haven't had a whole lot of wear on the inside of my tires... but some people like to err on the side of caution, i am not one of those people

Camber doesn't necessarily kill tires. I've got a camber kit installed, but have to run quite a bit of negative camber to keep the control arms from banging.

Bad toe is what you have to worry about, but they should fix that when you go to get it aligned.

you really dont need a camber kit unless you are really dropped. if you are planning to go lower than the 1.8 drop then look into it. i would look more into shocks because the stock ones aren't ment to be dropped on. plus if you are on OEM shocks more then likely you would need to replace those sooner. thats when you look into the camber kit if you are getting aftermarket shocks.

who said it does, i sure didn't, if it did i wouldn't still be running the same tires i have for the last couple of years and have -3 degrees or more of camber on them right now...
but for the most part you're only going to wear the insides of the tires quicker by running negative camber since they are not completely perpendicular to the ground (not a lot faster, but still faster)...
unless you were to track your car a lot therefore using all of the tire on corners and wearing the outsides of the tires aswell

kyb agx's are the cheapest way and most common most setups. Koni yellows are a great also too. kinda pricey but they have a lifetime warranty. IMO. i would just save for coils.

in the future just search the user profile and created threads. this is the way i find most of the pics i want/need
i'll give you a thread link anyways https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-photograph-gallery-57/time-mow-grass-730069/
i can't go much lower on stock wheels/tires unless i compress the spring more on the coils in the front as they rub on the inside of the wheel well, rubbing it right down to the metal in places

back to the original thread, sorry for the highjack kinda

Tokico HP's "Blues" are made for that type of drop. I've had them in the past with a 2" drop and they were great. Probably the best street set up I've had.

I ended up staying stock shocks for bout three days than decided to go to kyb gtr2 which have a much better feeling with the car being lower than stock. It actually rides better now than it did before. weird how that works but im not complaining. It was a bitch to get the back shocks out though but after replacing the bolts and 3 trips to acura we finaly had all the parts to replace everything we broke lol.

be careful with the gr2's they're stock replacements and aren't meant for lowered cars

my 2" drop

I am happy with my drop, I used Tanabe DF-210 springs for the Accord application, and went sown 2 1/4" all around...I want to go down another 1/2" in the front, not quite sure how to do this without coilovers

you can buy shocks. Koni yellows have a lifetime warranty.

Any drop on a car get a camber kit... Don't waste money on tires to save a few bucks on a camber kit... Get the camber kit off ebay... Cheap one works just fine and if you want you can do the washer trick in the back, But I went ahead and bought a real camber kit for the back..

If your car aligns within spec, you don't need a camber kit.
