Ok, now that I have gotten that out of the way, lets start with my problem, I'm sure you all are wondering whytf is he posting all this shit in this suspension thread...LOL, my issue is that I have the eiback pro-kit but i can stick almost three fingers between the top of the tire and the wheel wells but the back end, I can fit barely one (because of the weight of the subs/amp in the trunk). I really hate all that extra space since it doesn't look right with the back because it is so much lower....i'm now debating to just get a camber kit and just SLAM it out because my tires are wearing abnormally, could I have someone cut the front springs a little like half or quarter of an inch, or just get the eibach sportlines???

 

please...do not cut your springs...get the sportlines or coilovers if u want a lower drop. if ur gonna do something to ur car, do it right. otherwise shit gets fucked up

ok, thanks for your input, u think i can just get 2 sportlines for the front and leave the pro-kit on the back? that would prolly make it look better if its low in the front and a little higher in the back or is that just a bad idea?

 

If i were you i would just get some nice coils. That way you can compensate for the subs and crap in your trunk.

 

How much to the prokit cost you? I want a 1.5 but i didnt think that kind of drop would require a camber kit. Do u have the springs on the stock struts?

the prokit was like 230, i have the pro-kit on tokico illuminas gas struts, they ran for like 500 when i got them but now u can get them for 375 on ebay...the only reason i need a camber kit is because of the weight of subs in my trunk, the alignment can't be done properly without it, right nows its really not that bad but i will need a camber kit within a few months, i'm think feb/mar time...

 

that reminds me, my rear right strut is making a clunking noise when going over semi-deep ditches, does anyone have problems with a clunking noise, mine is only coming from the back right strut??? doesn't make any sense...anyone shed some light on why it is doing that? just a little annoying...

 

I definately need to check out your car binny. I wanna see what the drop looks like. I have prokits sitting at home brand new, but i'm not sure if I'm gonna be happy with the drop. If I decide not to keep them E_Dog, I'll let u know.

 

i need to get a new digital camera, hoping for christmas, will post pics soon, do u think i could get away with getting sportlines just in the front? that would look hard because the back is way low, don't need more of a drop in the back, what ya think?
