Are your wheels road force balanced? How is it rough? Is it bumpy? Stiff? What?

I can't imagine anyone would have mounted your new tires and not balaced them! If they are not balanced then I'd bet thats your problem. 100%.

Balancing the wheel to the rim ensures a smoother ride, also allignment may be off that could def happen from changing the balljoints and axles

Who put the tires on? I'm sure they would have balanced them! Go look at your rims inside and out and look for new weights that might have been added. Balancing 4 tires can be a bit pricey, especially if they don't need it.

Wow, I never head of that before. Just did some reading over on the Cadillac forums and they are swearing by it. I guess when I get some new tires I'll have to get that done. Thanks Man.

see the thing is i bought my cl from an auction, they had no test drives, after buying it i found out that the whole suspension and steering system is destroyed,ie rusted, this lead me to put the new parts in (1st post) and the car has improved dramatically but it still has that unstable and bumpy ride to it..maybe due to the pssngr side accident from previous owner.i didnt expect to waste so much money on the suspension of car

wow man , just get an alignment and get your tires balanced. if needed, rotate your tires. After that, your car should be fine. By the way I brought my car from the auction and I was able to test drive it and I brought a mechanic who fully inspected the car before I dropped the cash on it. Do extensive research before you buy a car , especially on a car at an auction, you can never be too careful.

Shouldn't be too bad, any larger tire shop should be alright. Shouldn't be more than say $100

Balancing a tire is more than air, they balance the wheel and tire to each other. Just let a shop do it

Where is it bumpy? Front & back? If after you do the balancing & rotation check your control arms for cracks or and signs of being bent. Or if only the front check your Upper control arm & anchor bolts.
