I went to the body shop yesterday and they told me 3500 for the job to clean up all my dents and everything too. I talked him down to 2000, I might sell him the old rims and get even a better price..I havent decided yet on the paint..

Nice wheels man..cant wait to see the whip. Those rims are nice with any color(except pink a.k.a primrose), so when you do decide to paint you'll be good. I dont really like many styles of wheels but those are str8 . If you dont pick em up by the meet on Sunday we should do a photoshoot sometime next week. Good choice by goin w/ the wheels first...
The paint and H22 can always wait.

18x8 is the way to go. I hope to order another set of wheels running 9 wide with rolled fenders.

Yep the ssr's im running now is 18x8 Im running a 215/40 on them no rubbing only when turning going up a hill. There is less rubbing than my 7.5 wide c5's with 225s

I am seriously considering running a staggered setup in the near future. 9 wide is possible with a lower offset and some fender at least rolling will be needed. I was thinking of running 8 wide in the front and 9 wide in the rear with a +30 offset.

Yup, I suggest running a strech on the tire for maxium clearance.

yep.. i have 19x8 all around... so what i wanted to do was.. just order new rear rims..w/ 9 or 9.5 w/ different offset.. so that i can put the fender flares on..

was gonna use these rims W/ wheel spacers.. so that i can ask my bodyshop to customize my fender flares.. but they suggest NOT to do it.. they suggested me to change the rims first.. so.. u think 30+ offset will be fine? my fender flares are like 1.5 in wide.. then what offset do u think it needs..? 30+?

I don't think I can have rubbing at all since I race the CL on the mountains uphill, lol. Cause I'm getting 17x7.5 in the near future and putting Azenis 225's on them. If I could go with wider rims with wider tires without rubbing, then that'd be even better for me. Traction is always nice to have when running

well..i'm getting the wider rims tho.. lol

but not sure about the offset..
