opinions on tire size

opinions on tire size

i got a set of volk evo 3's.. staggered 17x8 (front) 17x9 (rear)

i was thinking going 205 45 in the front and 215 45 in the rear and just stretching the sh1t out of the tires.. so what's your guys' imput. btw im running tein basics so imma drop it some more. ill post pics soon. im at work!

if they got 195/40 front 205/45 rear would be nice

no sense you "stretching the shit" out of your tires. you hit a pothole, there goes the bead of the tire. next thing you know you'll be rollin rim. and the chances of that is pretty much the same as hitting a pothole and bending/cracking/tweaking the rim.

wtf. Get wider tires. 235 is perfectly square with 8" width and maybe 255 in the back. The tire size you listed will be stretched like no other.

got 215 on a 7.5" wide rim and 235 on a 8"wide rim on my 240, but that's rwd. Might be diffrenent for you. Yet, im pretty sure the tire will be really stretched on those sizes.
