Noob question.. Shocks and Struts

Im headed to the local U pull it in a day or so to find some spare parts, figured i would try and get lucky with some suspension gear a buddy of mine picked up some tockicos for like 15$ a piece, i looked online and the prices the list are seperated by Shock Absorber and Strut, one is 5$ one is like 15$ if i do manage to find some tockicos or some form of an aftermarket set and i pull all four and buy them... does anyone know off hand what they fall under? Strut or Shock? I've wondered this too if i had the money to buy new ones... do i search for Strut or Shock, or do they come as 1 piece?

I believe for our car it falls under shock absorbers for the rear and a strut assembly for the front being that a strut assembly is usually used because it helps the suspension with ease of turning. Once i get to class later on I'll look it up for you.

I haven't had much luck finding CL's at salvage yards, only one that was totaled, I wouldn't expect to find too many aftermarket parts, sounds like your friend was lucky, but you should find more accords than CL's I'd imagine
