New wheels w/o a drop - A couple ?s
I have some 18" wheels I'm going to put on my 99CL with stock suspension. I'm a pretty big noob but I've done reading on websites like the one below...
https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
but I also want to ask. If I I put the new wheels on do I need to worry about anything if a visual + ride test full turns both directions don't produce any rubbing?
It seems like most people that drops cars and ride larger wheels worry about their tire camber is this mainly just for rubbing reasons or does it have to do with tire wear?
For example if I throw some 18s on my CL and they seem to look and ride correctly (from my brothers 97 accord - Hes in the Navy now) do I need to worry about wear if my car is aligned and I'm keeping the proper tire pressure etc?
Thanks for the help.

You should be fine if your suspension is in alignment.
Negative camber makes your tires sit like / \ instead of | | . It occurs when the car is lowered, primarily, and will cause uneven wear. If your suspension is aligned properly, you will not have wear issues.
