i got my koni yellows for $515 shipped from import horizon. they are a good business. i also got the eibach camber kit which was like $150 shipped, then i had to order the tool to adj it which was another $40 shipped. you will definitely need a camber kit though. i got prokits and koni yellows with the front on the elower perch so im talking from experience. i have a 2.2 also so im sure the 3.0 will be sittin a little lower.

VXCL could you post pictures of your car? I would love to see how that drop looks. I am thinking about lowering my car and I am debating what would be the best setup for me

Thanks for posting those pics VXCL the drop looks great! I heard that the koni struts would lower the car more but I dont understood how, I always thought that the firmness of the struts were adjustable not the height. I assume they must have the same kinda perch as coilovers or is it a different setup (I cant tell from the pictures of the struts)? If the height adjust how hard is this to do? Thanks for your help.

there is a lower perch on the shock to lower the car more. like coilover but its fixed in 3 spots. it will lower ur car another .25-.5". you can only adj it with the shock off the car.

direct bolt on for me. if ur talking about cutting the bump stops and enlarging the hole in the dust cover that takes 2 secs and is by far easier then getting the rear shocks off or compressing the front shocks. if i was you i would take the shocks off ur car and bring them to a shop to be compressed and taken apart. use a $3 spring compressor off ebay to install the new springs becuase they will need barley any compressing if at all.

the bump stops are easy to cut. they are like hard rubber. u can use a saw, dremel, whatever. you only need to trim about an 1". you trim off the bottom not the top. only reason u trim them is because the drop allows less travel for the shock especially if you use the lower perch. on bumpy roads you may keep hitting the bump stop. the bump stop is there to keep from blowing the shock if you really hit something nasty. my friend blew his in a pothole becuase the stupid shop that installed them left the bump stop outs. he also bent his rh rim so it was a nasty hole. luckily koni said, "listen u little punk, we fix it this time for free, but put the damn bump stops on"

the camber kit is not installed yet becuase im wainting for my rims to get an alignment. heres pics of it. very basy, easy install, you just dial in the camber by turning the metal sleave with the special tool. new poly bushings also! its the eibach camber kit (made by spc)

the camber kit was like $140 and the tool was another $30

I just got my koni, and all I received is 4 shocks, and those nuts, washers, white washers, and stuffness adjustment nob. I am installing this right now, and wondering if I need to the get dust cover off the stock, and replace to the koni's?? But that's not possible tho because the washer on the top of the stock shocks was like welded on there, I couldnt get the dust cover off there.
also what's the bump stops look like?? I know, I am a noobie. Sorry for all those questions, man. Please advise.

Jeff
