What do you guys think about Ground Control coilovers?? I'm thinking of getting that coilover and setting it up with my tokico blues shocks/struts. I currently have sprint drop springs on, but wanna go slammed!! let me know what are good sleeves....

if you want to be slammed, then get a full coilover setup.
this will allow you to raise and lower your ride height without compressing the shock at all.
Setups i am talking about are: D2's, Form and Function, K-Sport, Tein, etc...

Haven't heard many good things about GC coils, get a real set of coils like D2, K-Sport, F&F or Tein

Get the Ground Controls and a decent shock that can handle at least a 2 inch drop.

Everything I have ever heard about GC was Great. They use Eibach springs that has a warranty for life so if the spring ever breaks they will replace it. you can also order different spring rates for your preference

He said he's on a budget and wants a big drop. Tein's are expensive and are built around a soft (comfort/street) spring rate, so no slamming.

I actually got to ride in an accord with teins on it and they sucked bad. The owner said he had GC/koni before he went with the teins and it was a hundred times better as far as ride comfort and stability and he had his teins set of the softest setting available. I actually had tiens on the comparison list until I rode in his car and that one was scratched real quick

Really? I had the complete opposite experience, I went through 4 other suspension setups before getting my teins, and they ride better than any other coilover I've tried

97BlackAckCL, You have the SS teins correct? These were the basic setup and I didn't like the way it felt at all. I guess its just a preference thing but if I was gonna pay close to 900.00 on coilovers I think they should ride allot better than his teins did

I have the SS-P's with the pillow mounts, and mine ride smoother than stock, and I got them used

EDIT: Ah the basics don't compare to the SS's, that explains a lot
