Clunking noise from front suspension

So I dropped my car on Neuspeed Sports/Tockico Blues and my car is pretty low (almost tucking fronts, no gap in the rear), and now I have this clunking noise coming from the front suspension. The noise is kind of like when the CV joints go bad, but it only happens when going really slow through parking lots over soft bumps and such. I'm not sure what it could be. Doing a little research has shown that it could be:
  • Control arm hitting the fenderwell trim
  • Bad bushings somewhere
  • Rubbing?
  • Other reasons?

I'll be taking it in for an alignment this week. Originally, I was gonna have a shop do the install for me, but I decided to save and do the majority of the work myself. What I want to do is have them align the car, check it for why its making the noise, and also see why my steering wheel vibrates after balancing the tires 50 times?

Can anybody help and give some input? I'd greatly appreciate it.

most likely the control arm. I suggest getting an alighnment, then shaving hte fenderwalls where it hits.

your steering wheel vibrates? did you get new brakes? could be the rotars are warped...

The steering wheel vibrates above 60, but not when braking. The car makes a squeaking/clunking/scratching noise when going slowly down the road and over slightly bumpy pavement at low speed. At high speeds, the car is a champ. Keep in mind, I'm almost tucking my front tires, so I think that I maybe need to cut away the fenderwell trim and get new bushings.

How much do new bushings cost anyways? I don't even have a remote idea as to where they go and how they're put in.

allignment should take care of the vibration..if not, then i'd look at how the steering rack bushings are

if your control arm isn't hitting the fender, then it could be your springs coil binding (which is fine for your progressive springs)...or it could be your shocks are bottoming out either with or without bumpstops..did you trim the bumpstops before installing?

replacing bushings should be the last on your list to fix the problem

"squeaking/clunking/scratching" is most likely the upper control arm hitting/scraping the inner fender. i dont think neuspeed sports are progressive springs in the front, azian.

every single lowering spring is a progressively wound spring...the only time you'll see linear springs is on coilovers/coilover sleeves

gives more shock travel....so you'll get more travel before you bottom out
