Wierd Noise at about 1500rpm
Hey guys. I noticed that a week ago, tried to find were it was. I think its coming from under the car.
Its like a quick metal on metal sound. Like if u pull a can on the road. At about 1500 RPM starts at 1200-1300 and disapears at about 1600.

Ok guys. I raised my car, for the several minuts i had, and i actually saw a bracket, that seem to hold the exhaust line, right after the exhaust manifold, it sheared. So maybe that is what is making the noise?
Because the noise is audible only when the car is moving (1 st gear or any other gear, at arround 1500 rpm). When the car is stationary and revs, i dont hear it. It sounds like a metal on metal sound, a rattle. My heatshield, well, the bolts actually rusted and it fell on my driveway one day. I found it on the floor when i was going back from school.
SGoing back to the bracket, it is sheared completly from one side to the other, so it is broken. It seems that when the engines actually pushed the car, the exhaust vibrates, and makes those 2 metal parts touch each other, and that what makes the sound.
Anybody know what that bracket is called? it has 2 bold on the bottom and 2 on top, bottom holds exhaust, top holds frame.
Thank you
I tried puttins some non flamable silicon in the crack, doubt itll change anything, lol ahaha. Stupid me.
