I have a 97 first gen cl and was cleaning my interior and popped one these out and this is what surprised me does anyone know what this for?

 

it is for the fog lights. the other one is where the seat warmer switch goes but the one you are showing is for fog's. From what others have said the first gen (at least 97 is anyway) is at least half way wired for fogs so all you need to do is put a switch into that plug you are showing and then find where the wiring stops under the hood and go from there to the fog lights
